First thing I notice here is that Nitro was at Club LaVela in Panama City Beach, live it!

2nd – WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT TEAM PIPER PUT TOGETHER?

Thanks GOD Flair and the Horsemen came out and saved Piper! Ha! I remember this and Piper was pretty awful in WCW, but this group of guys he put together was a nightmare!

Ric Flair was on top of the wrestling world and he had no issues rubbing that in everyones face! Reminding fans and other competitors nightly that to be the man, you have got to beat the man!

Ric Flair seemed to always have a rotating spot in the Horsemen; Lex Luger, Sting, Barry Windham … I could go on for days ..

The common theme was that he would build them up and then battle them. Brilliant for booking pro wrestling during this time period, the fans really were passionate about these guys and they took advantage of the emotions.

Ric Flair and Missy Hyatt are in the UWF! NWA and UWF were in the process of merging, as a child I thought this was insane seeing Flair on UWF ( thanks for the Wrestling Machine ).
